Counselor
Brittney Martinez
My name is Brittney Martinez, I am so honored to be a part of the counseling team at the Hope Center. I moved to Lago Vista from Denver and have loved being a part of the community here. I spent a large part of my career in Denver running treatment centers for at-risk youth in the Denver Metro area including young moms and teenage boys. I have over 10 years of experience counseling all ages. I look at the source of whatever an individual is dealing with and work toward resolution with you. I believe that anyone can overcome anything and I provide a supportive, directional, and direct approach towards getting there. I believe that truth and hope are the most powerful things a person can find and I spend my time with you finding both of these things. My primary focus is on trauma and abuse, stress and anxiety, depression, substance use/addictions, attachment/development, and parenting issues including fostering and adoption.

Biblical Counselor
Kelly McDaniel
My name is Kelly McDaniel, and I am a biblical counselor at the Hope Center! Over the last several years, it has been my honor to sit across from many women, ministering to their hearts through hardship, grief, broken relationships, trauma, and more. Through this experience, I have witnessed firsthand the redeeming power of the Gospel through biblical counseling. Applying God's truth to life's struggles is transformative from the inside out. I received my M.A. in Biblical Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and am currently pursuing further certifications. My husband and I live in Jonestown and have four adult sons, three daughters-in-law, and one grandson. I would love to hear from you and serve you at the Hope Center!

Project Mentor Director
Dawn White
My name is Dawn White, and I am truly honored to be a part of The Hope Center team, serving as the Project Mentor Director for the Lago Vista Independent School District. I have been volunteering for the last 25 years in both church and community non-profit organizations. Much of that service has been focused on children, whether directly through children’s ministry/mentoring programs or indirectly through administrative services that bless children. I love kids and have been hoping to volunteer more with children that may never set foot inside the church. Even though they may not go to church, God still loves them and as mentors, we get the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with them.
